The Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre (BNERC) was established in 1996 to conduct advanced combined studies on bioscience and nanotechnology, educate graduate students via advanced research and promote international activities. The state-of-the-art high-tech facilities and equipment are open to any researchers from academia and industries.

The Graduate School of Interdisciplinary New Science was opened in 2007 based on the research and educational programmes developed by BNERC. Motivated Doctoral and Master Course students in the field of bio-nano fusion science and technology are welcome.

Admission in April or October each year.
