Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £33,258 - £39,132 per annum (inclusive of London Allowance) plus Marie Curie allowances of between £15,000 - £24,000 p.a. The postholder will develop and employ electrical measurement techniques to measure the properties of quantum spins in silicon, which are increasingly seen as holding great promise for future science and technology. Tasks will include preparation of multi-terminal devices using optical and e-beam lithography and ion implantation, measurements of current-voltage characteristics of as a function of magnetic field, temperature, as well as microwave, THz, IR and visible radiation, and assembly and programming (via Labview) of necessary microwave, optical and electrical hardware.
