The School of Life Sciences and Facility Management is located on an attractive campus on the left shore of the Lake of Zurich in Wädenswil.
In order to further strengthen our team working on the development of new materials we are looking for a
Research Assistant or Post-doc for Polymer Nanoparticle Synthesis (80 %)
to start immediately or upon agreement.
In this position you will have the opportunity to greatly expand your competences and apply your creativity by working on the following research areas:
  • Synthesis of semiconducting polymeric particles for organic electronics applications
  • Conductivity measurements of semiconducting nanomaterials and nanoparticles
  • Potential involvement in characterization of wettability of nanoparticles in the framework of an EU project
The ideal candidate has completed or will complete a PhD degree in the field of Chemistry and has accumulated a deep understanding of semiconducting polymer synthesis and their conductivity mechanisms. Good knowledge of both English and German are an advantage.
