Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research position to work with the group of Assoc.Prof. Dönüs Tuncel in the Department of Chemistry at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey on a research project funded by TUBITAK-COST action (http://www.cost.eu/domains_actions/cmst/Actions/TD1004) in the area of the development of novel polymeric nanoparticles for theranostic. The post is for a period of two years, and is available from 01 December 2013. Applicants must have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in chemistry. Expertise in organic synthesis, polymer chemistry are required and be willing to learn new techniques in the synthesis and characterization of nano-structured organic materials.
The applicant should be capable of working under his/her own initiative and working within a small research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
