Post-doctoral positions at the University of Liege, Belgium

2 post-doctoral positions (one of them for candidates with at least one year of post-doctoral experience) are available. Appointments are nominally for one year with the possibility for renewal, subject to mutual satisfaction. Research will be in the area of molecular recognition using AFM-based single molecule force spectroscopy. The project will involve interaction force measurements in molecular biomimetic films based on genetically engineered polypeptides for inorganics. The candidate (She/He) should have a PhD in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering or equivalent, with relevant experience in Scanning Probe Microscopy and related techniques.
