Applications are invited for one postdoctoral position at Center for Nano and Material Sciences (CNMS), Jain University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Ph.D in Chemistry/thesis submitted in Chemistry.
2. Good experimental skills (experience with organic and inorganic synthesis technique). Candidate also should have a sound background in inorganic/ organic or bioinorganic chemistry. The ability to work closely and collaborate with colleagues is a must. Proficiency with the English language is required.
Conditions of employment:
The university offers a salary of Rs 35000/- per month. Appointment is for 1 year, and can be extended to 2-3 years based on performance. Candidates must be trained in organic/inorganic synthetic methodologies, chromatographic purification and characterization of the compounds (IR, NMR and other commonly used spectroscopy technique).
