The candidate should have experience in using the following techniques:

[1] TPD, TPR, and TPO

[2] Gas phase catalytic reactorions, fixed bed and fluidized bed reactors

[3]  Physisorption using multi-gas  analyzers

[4] Spectroscopic techniques [UV, FTIR, Raman, XRD,..etc.]

[5] Recent publications in high impact factor journals

    Dear Sir,

    This is Mohammad Faisal, Ph.D Scholar in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The area of my research involves the development of materials for hydrogen storage and kinetics of hydrogen storage. I have two international publications and an Indian Patent in the said field.

    Currently I am concentrating my efforts on hydrogen induced high damping metallic materials for mechanical energy damping applications.

    Simultaneously I have designed and fabricated a metal hydride based canisters for efficient heat and mass transfer studies. These canisters then be used for on board applications for driving hydrogen based fuell cell coupled devices.
