PhD Studentship in Spin qubits in carbon nanotube and graphene quantum dots

Location: London, England

Duration of Studentship 4 Years Stipend £15,590 per annum Vacancy Information A PhD studentship is available to undertake research into the understanding and exploitation of the electronic properties of carbon nanotubes and graphene. A strong emphasis will be on the development of individual electron spins defined in carbon nanotube and graphene quantum dots as long-lived quantum bits or qubits as well as the generation and measurement of multi-qubit entanglement in these materials. Experimental work will involve device fabrication in a cleanroom environment and electrical measurements at low temperatures, including both dc electron transport and microwave manipulation and spectroscopy. The work will be carried out at the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) in the group of...

I am a final year Integerated student in nanotech. If eligible how can i apply for this position?

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at
