invites applications for the following vacancy

PhD or Postdoctoral Position

in theoretical condensed matter physics.

The contract will start on January 1st, 2012 with an initial duration
of 12 months.

Salaries are according to the collective agreements on salary scales
which apply at the Goethe University (E13, 50% or E13 100% TV-G-U).

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a background in
either ultracold atomic physics, quantum optics, strongly correlated
electrons or numerical simulations of strongly interacting quantum
many-particle systems. Furthermore, the successful candidate should
have the capability to work independently and show dedication to the
research projects of the group.

In the summer of 2005, Goethe University was awarded the basic

 is attached to the family-friendly structuring of the university
