Positions are available for graduate students, postdocs, research scientists, engineers, and faculty members at the Peac Institute of Multiscale sciences (PIMS). PIMS is a new research and education institute with focus on understanding materials properties at multiple temporal and spatial scales, in particular at submicron and subnanosecond scales. The subject areas span over materials science, mechanics, condensed matter and plasma physics, chemistry, optics including THz, X-ray sciences, and biomedical sciences. All candidates with expertise in experiment, numerical modeling or theory will be considered, and are expected to have genuine interest in scientific research, intellectual curiosity and integrity, as well as the spirit of teamwork.

PIMS is located on the beautiful Jiang'an campus of Sichuan University, in Chengdu, China. PIMS adopts rigorous, western style systems for graduate education and research.
