The "Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials And New Production Technologies - Deployment in Latin American Countries” (NMP–DeLa) project has now launched its Community pages where you can join the growing community of organisations and individuals supporting the deployment of Nanotechnologies across Latin America and Europe.

NMP-DeLa is a significant initiative and the only project approved for the Latin American region under the FP7 NMP ‘Cooperation’ call, which means the Presidency of the European Commission has a special interest in the project and will ensure close collaboration with the International Cooperation Unit of the Commission.
NMP-DeLA’s importance is largely down to its activities, which focus on strengthening local research capacities, as a means to achieve the goal of deploying advanced and new material technologies in the sectors of major social challenge in Latin America: Energy, Water and Health. By joining the Community you can engage in a programme of free expert workshops, summer schools and live webinars that will create valuable skilling-up, networking and interfacing opportunities.
