As in previous editions, Nanoschool 2013 is promoted with two distinct initiatives: the Nanoschool Course, entitled "Nanomedicines: the Next Generation of Pharmaceuticals", for registered participants, and the Nanoschool Conference, entitled "Current challenges of pharmaceutical industry and main answers to tackle issues", open for the public in general. Title: "Nanomedicines: the Next Generation of Pharmaceuticals".

Dates: 14, 15, 17 & 18th October 2013 - from 15h30 to 17h30.

Venue: room 0.57, level 0 (University of Madeira, Campus of Penteada).

Program:
Part I. Current challenges of pharmaceutical industry.
Part II. Hits, Leads and clinical candidates finding: New concepts in Medicinal Chemistry, generalities and case studies.
Part III. New approaches in medicinal chemistry to find drugs: Generalities and case studies.
Part IV. Design of nanoparticles: transfer from the laboratory to clinic.
