I have completed my Ph.D in the field of metal oxide nanomaterials for opto-electronics and gas sensing devices from Department of Applied Physics, Aligarh Muslim University, India. I have been awarded Maulana Azad National Fellowship from University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi for pursuing my Ph.D work. As a research scholar at Aligarh Muslim University, I developed many of the laboratory skills. These include X-ray diffraction (XRD), FTIR, UV-visible spectroscopy, Particle size analyzer, Impedance spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) etc. I have also good experience of various synthesis techniques like sol-gel method, combustion route and solid state reaction method. I have deposited pure and doped metal oxide thin film by RF magnetron sputtering, spin coating and dip coating methods. I have studied the structural, optical and electrical properties of metal oxide nanomaterials during my research. Later, I have developed gas sensors based on pure and doped ZnO thin films and study their alcohol sensing properties. I have a good experience of writing and analyzing scientific results. I am a hardworking person who enjoys a challenge both as part of a team and as an individual. I am looking for a postdoc or research associate position.
