Lectureship in Nanoscale Materials Characterisation - United Kingdom

We are looking for an enthusiastic academic research leader, with outstanding potential for achieving national and international excellence and innovation in the field of experimental science of nanomaterials, in particular, in nanoscale materials characterisation and related areas. Active interaction with modelling and simulation research groups and established links with major industrial collaborators in the field of material science are of particular importance for this position. You are expected to design and develop research proposals securing substantial research funding for LMSI, managing research groups, providing leadership, support and guidance to research staff and students and academic colleagues.

You will establish research objectives consistent with the strategic priorities of Lancaster University, LMSI and Physics Department in the area of nanoscale materials characterisation, two-dimensional materials, nanoscale devices and materials in biomedical applications. You must demonstrate proven track record of advanced research in the field of nanomaterials, development of advanced methods for nanoscale materials characterisation including scanning probe microscopy and measurements of physical properties of nanomaterials and nanostructures, as well as a record of high quality research outputs with major contribution from the applicant.

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
