"Hot Nanotechnology Papers 2012": Self-assembly of a renewable nano-sized triterpenoid 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid

Title of the paper: Self-assembly of a renewable nano-sized triterpenoid 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid

Authors:  Professor Braja Gopal Bag, Rakhi Majumdar

University/Institute:  Vidyasagar University

Abstracts:

The nano-sized triterpenoid 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid extractable from Glycyrrhiza glabraself assembled in different liquids affording mostly nano to microsized spherical and flower like objects consisting of fibrillar networks yielding thermoreversible gels. The self-assemblies have been utilized for the templated growth of CdS nanoparticles.

Welcome - about us

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!

Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
