Highly Practical AFM Skills To Be Taught Online!

Agilent Technologies invites you to attend a very special scientific e-Seminar aimed at optimizing your use ofatomic force microscopy (AFM). This exclusive one-hour live event, designed to educate researchers who are relatively new to AFM technologies and techniques, will be led by Agilent senior application scientist Dr. Song Xu.

All online attendees can query the presenter directly during an open Q&A session.

Date:               Thursday, April 26 @ 11:00 a.m. (ET)

Title:                AFM Techniques and Skills for Dealing with Difficult Samples

While 80% of the work done atcentralized AFM facilitiesinvolves simple intermittent contact mode imaging of 'easy' samples in air, many researchers are also confronted with 'difficult' samples that can require more time and effort. This seminar will focus on the techniques and skills needed for work with difficult samples, using actual examples to illustrate possible solutions to unique problems.

You are encouraged to email Dr. Xu (song_xu@agilent.com) with your own example of a difficult sample so we can work together to find a solution. Some of theexamples receivedwill be included in the seminar!

Welcome

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.

There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
