The International NanoScience Community is official partner of First International Nanotechnology Congress ¨José Rubén Orellana¨.

Nanotechnology is already considered as the Fundamental Technology of the 21st century. Doubtlessly, it is provoking a new Revolution in the fields of the thought, the economy and society and this will require the effort of all scientists, technicians, politicians, economists and teachers in order to direct harmonically towards the goals of a new technology that will raise the life quality if properly managed. The Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the National Polytechnic School, being aware of the great importance of developing Nanotechnology in a responsible manner with the aim of searching for solutions to the problems that attain the poorest countries and regions around the globe, such as hunger, sickness, the lack of drinkable water, insufficient housing, expensive energy sources, has organized the First International Nanotechnology Congress ¨José Rubén Orellana¨ from the 7th to the 11th of June, 2010 in Quito – Ecuador.
