The aim of the workshop is to bring together prospective experts and users of synchrotrons, and FELs to discuss the state-of-the-art of the respective fields and the new opportunities opening up in atomic, molecular, and cluster physics and chemistry. These include high field physics, the study of ultra-dilute systems and time-resolved experiments.

The workshop will be held at the Adriatico Guest House of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in the village of Grignano, about 500 m from the Castle of Miramare, 10 km from downtown Trieste, 30 km from Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari airport (TRS), and 145 km from Venice airport (VCE).

The program will feature invited lectures and a visit to the Synchrotron Light Laboratory Elettra and to the Free Electron Laser FERMI@Elettra.

The deadline for registration is October 28, 2011.

Space at the venue is limited. To reserve a room at the guesthouses, the accommodation form needs to be completed before October 14th.
