Welcome to ITN “Nanoelectromechanical Motion in Functional Materials”!
NANOMOTION represents a joint European effort involving eight partners seeking to make breakthroughs in nanoelectromechanical characterization of emergent functional materials.. The position is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network “NANOMOTION”. NANOMOTION aims at the development of the next generation of multifunctional materials (piezoelectrics, ferroelectrics, multiferroics, ionic conductors and polar biomaterials) using novel nanoelectromechanical tools: Piezoresponse Force Microscopy (PFM) and Electrochemical Strain Microscopy (ESM) as well as their combination with traditional scanning probe microscopy methods. NANOMOTION is intended to train the next generation of scientists, engineers and technologists in the fundamental aspects of nanoelectromechanics and to apply advanced PFM/ESM tools to study a wide range of emergent multifunctional materials.
Opportunities are available as follows:
12 PhD positions:
- Lead-free piezoelectrics (University of Leeds - UK, Tyndall Institute - Ireland )

Comment
I am interested in supplying any nano materials that may be needed in this research
Dear Sir,
I'm interseted in the post doc position.
How I can send the application with my CV.
Regards
Arun Aravind
I’m interested for PhD position in the area of ' Battery materials for energy storage (Bosch - Germany) like Silicon & TiO2 nanowire/nanorod & Nanostructured ferroelectrics’(Nanotec/ICMM).I have completed B.Sc & M.Sc in Physics 2007 and also done M.Tech in Materials Science and Enginnering from NIT Tiruchchirappalli (India). Now I pursuing the 1 year project (upto 1 march 2012) on TiO2 nanorod / quantum dots solar cell fromm IIT Bombay (India).
Dear Sir I am highly intrested in PHD position in new advanced nano material for industrial application ,I have master degree in advanced materials for electrical applications ,please if any opportunity available contactme , my e mail : mfametal@yahoo.com
Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.
There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at editor@nanopaprika.eu
