Engineer/physicist - Technical University of Denmark

The cleanroom facility (DANCHIP) at the Technical University of Denmark seeks candidates for 1-2 process specialist positions in our Process Engineering team.

DANCHIP is one of the largest facilities in Northern Europe for top-down micro- and nanotechnology with a broad spectrum of advanced processing and measurement equipment supporting research, teaching and production activities in the fields of MEMS, optical communication, m-fluidics, and biochemistry.

The position
We are seeking candidates in the field of thin-film deposition, including physical vapour deposition (sputtering and evaporation), low pressure chemical vapour deposition, and furnace processing in general. The main tasks will be to develop and maintain processes and equipment in a close collaboration with the other process specialists and technicians in the team.

The successful candidate has a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in a relevant field (micro/nano-fabrication, experimental physics or similar) and preferably has a profound knowledge and experimental skills within the area of thin-film deposition.

Terms of employment
Your appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. We work 37 hours a week.
