CIMA 2013 - Call for Abstracts

Dear Participant,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate the CIMA-2013 Conference (www.cima2013.org), the 2nd Mediterranean Conference on Innovative Materials and Applications, to be held in Dedeman Hotel, Antalya, Turkey, during the dates May 28-31, 2013.

The 1st successful conference of CIMA was held in Beirut, Lebanon during 15-17 March, 2011 with more than 200 participants from more than 20 countries around the globe, and the flag is passed on to us in Turkey. We are hoping that this biannual event will be followed by other Mediterranean Countries with a steadily growing number of both young and experienced participants.

The central theme of the conference is Materials with strong emphases on Novelty on the one hand, and Applications on the other. The topics include environmental and pollution control, recycling, water issues, quality of life, public health, energy, nanotechnology, heritage restoration.

As in the case of the 1st CIMA, a selected number of the papers will be published as the Proceedings of the Conference by Trans-Tech Publications.

Antalya, which is now called the "Turkish Riviera", has been chosen due to its proximity to many archaeological and natural sites, and the Dedeman Antalya Hotel & Convention Center is conveniently located to the old-town, being on the seaside, and having congress facilities.

In the spirit and tradition of Turkish Hospitality, I once more invite you all to the CIMA-2013 in Antalya, and wish you a fruitful meeting, and a pleasant stay.

The registration and abstract submission are now OPEN, and the deadline for submitting abstracts is 01 February 2013.

More information is available at: http://www.cima2013.org

With my warmest regards,

Prof. Dr. Sefik SUZER
