    This looks like fraud, on the face of it.

    Whether a fake story or deeper.

    That is, the development of an organ like a nose is so dependent on such a long chain of preceding and surrounding and interactive tissue and organ development that it really doesn't seem very likely that noses and ears per se are being grown.

    Now, if simple epithelial and fat tissues are being molded into the appropriate shapes and so on, and blood-vessel growth encouraged into them, that would be a different story, an organ-engineering not too far beyond present technology as I understand it, although leaving the problems of surgical circulatory interface and more importantly innervation to be dealt with.
