We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the Nano-biotechnology group at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. The candidate should have proven experience in theoretical and experimental biophysics including continuum smulations of nanofluidics devices as well as fabrication and characterization of nanopores or nanochannel devices. Skills in fluorescence microscopy and particle tracking are a plus. The candidate is expected to have a PhD in Physics or equivalent discipline, a verifiable publication record and at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience in related fields. Desire and ease to integrate a dynamic and multi-disciplinary research team and communication skills are a must.

  • Doctorate Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Continuum simulation of nanofluidic devices
  • At least 3 years experience in Nanopore fabrication and ionic current measurement
  • At least 3 years experience in Biomolecule Imaging and Analysis
  • At least 3 years experience in Microfluidics device fabrication
  • English: Intermediate

  • English : Fluent
