• Detailed and in-depth knowledge of our systems and applications
• Participation in defining the needs for new products development
• Execution of jobs, demonstrations and customer training
• Delivering scientific and other publications (papers, conference proceedings, applications notes)
• Providing customer and market feedback to R&D and Product Managers
• Collaboration with other company departments to ensure that system requirements are well understood, developed, integrated and thoroughly tested
• Maintaining and nurturing pool of microscopy solution expertise (technology, methodology)
• Translating customer needs into workable solutions
• Leading applications development projects
• The function is based in Brno, the Czech Republic

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Material Science, Physics, Engineering or Biology
• 2-7 years of experience as an operator/user of an SEM or SDB system
• Demonstrated experience of using software in complex products with extensive hardward interactions
• Knowledge of programming would be an advantage
• Strong communicative skills (both verbal and written)
• Result oriented, ability to work under pressure
• Ability to travel internationally as needed (10% maximum)
• Active knowledge of English. Ability to learn Czech language
