Hi Sami,

The competition is open to any student(s), professor(s), researcher(s), investor(s), scientific(s) or entrepreuneur(s) who would like to present their innovative startup project in nanotechnology and polymer-based materials. So yes, there is absolutely an opportunity for you to participate in the Nanochallenge & Polymerchallenge !

To apply for this competition, a team must have at least 2 people representing the actual or expected Chief : the Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the venture presented in the Business Plan.

If you'd like to participate, you can register on the challenge website :

www. nanochallenge.com    before 19 July, which is the deadline for registering and submitting your Executive Summary (3 page document with a few general questions about your project that can be doawloaded on the challenge website on the "download area"section)

Then, a Concept Jury committe will evaluate the most promising Executive Summaries and the best teams will enter Phase 2. In this phase, every team will have to submit their Business Plan due on 24 September 2012. Business experts from the Silicon valley will help you in drafting your Business Plan.

Another avantage in participating that I haven't mentioned : the 12 finalists will have the opportunity to participate in a Roadshow in big cities all around the world to meet top investors and present their projects. So even if you don't win the competition, you will get access to a big network of business experts, investors.
