A new modified biopolymer additive, designated as MAGIC Y, significantly improves the
storage stability and workability of asphalt emulsions having a penetration ranging from 10 –
220 mm/10. The stabilizing effect is due to selective adsorption of polymer chains onto the
surface of the asphalt droplets.
i would like to know about other polymer nano-composites which improve the quality of asphalt emulsion. and how we can use polymer nano-composites in asphalt emulsion systems.

Great...must be tried selectively...
Asphalt as is used for payvment of roads is not an "emulsion". It is a shapeless, stucturless, gummy mixture of a polydisperse molecule named "aspahtene" which is mixed with petroleum resins, heavy hydrocarbons and adsorned to it a bunch of metals and oxides and mixed with sand. Petroleum refiners call it "resid" or "heavy end". I like to receive more technical information about the work of MAGIC Y before I can make any comment about it. I though you may be interested in testing inorganic SiO2 nanofibers for improving mechanical proeprties of asphalt.We have been testing SiO2 nanofibers in geopolymers and we reached very godd improvement of its mechanical properties (doubled).

We have done some work adding our stacked-cup carbon nanotubes to cement.  It greatly improves freeze/thaw and mechanical properties.  Haven't done any testing in asphalt but I imagine the results would be similar.
