  • American Scientific Publishers (ASP) - LAUNCHES NEW JOURNAL “ADVANCED CARBON”

ASP has recently launched its new journal called “Advanced Carbon” which is a peer reviewed multidisciplinary international journal publishing original and high-quality articles, short communications, critical reviews, case studies etc, covering a wide range of topics in carbon related science and engineering.

Authors can get the submission guidelines and submit their manuscript at http://www.aspbs.com/ac.htm

    No publication fees.

The authors will be informed on the decision within four (4) weeks after submission, and following acceptance, the article will be published in the journal’s next issue.

Impact factor of this journal is awaited.

    Looking forward to your submission.

  • that is exact the results of advanced technology ,nanotechnology in buildings,--->sustanable buldings and green buildings....
  • How is nano being used today in green building ?
for exmaple. Nanocoatings can be used to self-clean surfaces, and in the process they de-pollute - they actually remove air pollutants and dissolve them into relatively benign elements.
De-polluting nanocoatings break down toxins that come in contact with surfaces. When painted onto a road, bridge or building they not only protect the surface and reduce the need for cleaning, they eliminate some of the pollution that cars emit. It's invisible and nontoxic.
Nanotec's coatings are on a number of buildings around the world now. A building stays clean much longer, especially the windows, reducing the need for toxic chemical cleansers which emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They also have the potential to clean indoor air.
Self-cleaning windows were one of the first architectural applications of nanotech. The coating causes water to sheet off the surface, leaving a clean exterior with minimal spotting or streaking.

Nanopollution

Nanoparticles are already released unintentionally in the environment by high-combustion processes (incineration plant, car engines, weapons, etc.). Their chronic inhalation or ingestion with polluted food can induce pathologies (nanopathologies).Their dissemination is wide and deep inside the internal organs. Gonads, bone marrow, brain etc. can be target and their accumulation in such organs can cause locallly a biological reaction. Also animals can be exposed to this nanopollution. If we do…
