  • Gayathri:

    Here is an addendum to what I posted yesterday. Perhaps it will prove useful.

    Shadi Dayeh is PostDoc Fellow in the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies at the Los Alamos National Lab. Among his research interests are solar energy harvesting and he recently won a major award. Perhaps he can help to direct you as to funding in your field.

    Many opportunities via the Indo-US Science Technology Forum (some co-funded by GE, IBM, etc.), some of which you may already be familiar. Sort through the NDPP pdf document (provided below) for entities such as Joint Centre for NanoMaterials for Energy

    Matt Panthani is a researcher in Korgel’s lab at University of Texas who is assisting in the development of an innovative nanoink/spray-on solar cell process. He might be able to guide you.

    Details for NanoJapan at Rice can be accessed via the link provided. But also check out "NanoTech Japan" - a network of 13 collaborative centers and 26 research institutes: https://nanonet.nims.go.jp/english/modules/institop/
  • Greetings, Gayathri.

    I'm just now reading your message and on my side of the globe, it's still yesterday; so this application for admission (deadline date 31 May) into the PhD programme at the NETAJI SUBHAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in NEW DELHI Academic Session 2010-11 might be several hours too late in reaching you. Make an attempt, nevertheless. These are financed teaching-cum-research fellowships [a few related to your noted areas of interest]
    in the various divisions of:
    Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE);
    Computer Engineering & Division of Information Technology (COE & IT);
    Instrumentation and Control Engineering (ICE);
    Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering (MPAE);
    School of Applied Sciences (SAS); and
    Physics
