CQM is accepting, until 31 of January 2011, applications for the FCT “Welcome II Portugal” Programme which targets the recruitment of Post-doc researchers (Marie Curie Fellows) of any Member State/Associated Country nationality living and carrying out research for the past 3 years in Third Countries (such as USA, Japan or China) to join institutions in Portugal, by signing 3-year employment contracts with their host institution.
Canditates interested in having CQM as a host institution, must apply in the following areas: Natural Products and/or Materials/Nanomaterials.

Who should apply?
Post-Docs residing in Third Countries (such as USA, Japan, China) for the last three years having the nationality of a EU Member State or FP7 Associated Country with strong expertise (and CV) in the synthesis of nanomaterials for electronics and/or biochemical applications.
EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.
FP7 Associated Countries: Croatia, Rep. Macedonia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Applications should be submitted jointly by the host institution and the individual researcher.
