hello, thanks....
right.... so i have coated silver on various substrates with different(3nm, 12nm, 15nm and 150 nm) nanometer widths by sputtering method. I attached Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and E.coli on all sizes of the silver coatings various times....just to study the microbial attachment on AFM, Confocal microscope etc.
now the problem is as soon as i attach them...they wash away. they r not attaching initially....it used to attach on titanium surfaces but not here....
How can we adhere bacteria on them for a while and wait for Ag to activate into Ag+ so that the bacteria goes away later when we desire.
It seems silver completely resists the bacteria....do u have any reasons.
Hi again.Ok.Thank you for your explanations.Realy I work on laser mirrors and in this lab. the veriaty of laser mirror such as Co2, Nd-Yag,He-Ne and ... are made.I had 3 internal and international paper about them last year in optic photonic and Ecasia 2007 conference last year.I graduated from shahid beheshti university.
Dear Mrs. heidarpour
many coatings in nanotechnology are developed.
some of them extracted from Nature.
for exam. self-cleaning glass or self-cleaning fabric are developed from Nature.
in this group ideas about Natur and nano discussed.
what's your university.

i am doing work on Biological synthesis of nanoparticles
in microbes and plants.
I want to know abt u r work on E.coli
I think is good for you
