The programme for the Applied Genomics and Proteomics course introduces applications of proteomics and genomics and covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to proteomics
  • Protein expression systems
  • Clinical proteomics
  • DNA sequencing using engineered nano-pores
  • Applications of genetic technologies
  • DNA analysis for forensics.
