Hope this gets through to you. I have spent a good deal of time trying to find a means of contacting you since your leaving UCF. I know you will recognize my disappointment at not being able to chat with you. This has left a hole in my brain where strange ideas I come up with I can't bring up like I did in our brief meetings! Currently, I am able to talk with Scott Wise. He utilizes my brain in his foundations classes: Issues and Learning Theory. I am called a Visiting Lecturer and have attended one of his classes each semester for a few years. It gives me a chance to develop perspectives on learning and the brain. One of these is titled: Learning and Life. It turns on the idea that I told you about, Content as Human Competence and the strategy of starting curriculum with the students' experiences (you read my draft of that and made some very positive responses). I have included your letter to me about that in correspondence to USEd Secretary Duncan and Bill Gates with regard to the need to change the paradigm of instruction in this country. I would be happy to send some of these perspectives to you if you are interested. I would be happy to hear from you and to see you. We could do a Skype, I imagine.
Anyway, I hope you receive this in good health and spirit. Please know that I always considered you a friend, not just a valued colleague.
How are you hope that you are well.
I hope that i wont be bothering you id i where to ask for nanotech info.im in Zimbabwe and that technology is way beyond our capabilities so even getting handouts or notes through either the net or other resources is difficult.I appreciate what nanotech can do i hope not only to use it for research purposes but to create and design new things.I hope that in this light you may be able to help me in giving me whatever you have at your own discretion.
Thanks indeed for inviting me as your friend and i hope that you may help me

I want to join a training program in nanoeducation for 2-3 months
Can u help me?
Hello Sir, This is meghraj doing PhD in biological science and strong interested in nanotechnology want to be in your contact for your guidance and cooeration
Dear Aldrin,
Nice to "meet" you too...:)
My interests are the implementation of ICT in Science Education in general. My Ph.D research deals with problem solving and higher order thinking in math (Web based environments) using data mining techniques.
In engineering education, I'm interested in learning styles (mainly Felder-Solomon) and its relations to web usage behaviour. In regards to the Nanoscale, I'm a part of Nano2Life (NoE) - in the educational WP and we are doing EVNU (evnu.tau.ac.il).
What are your interests and research areas?
Best wishes,
Moshe
Dear Dr. Sweeney,
Yes, we did have contact with the Poly U and University of Sicence and Technology in HK. Our colleagues and myself are giving our presentations about Nanotechnolgoy to the schools in HK and China.
Best regards,
Charlie Chow

I think, the best is, if you create a forum topic or thematic group about this... and than people can join this!
