In all reprints they said to be CNTs with polymer materials used for Bio Sensors like DNA Sensors. why we are use electrochemical properties of metal oxide, what is the reson for that. If you know that tell me.

TO know about me you can see my profile Ch.L.R.Jaidev. Recently I got a question in my mind that what happens when a bulk semiconductor material is conjested to a nano sized one. What happens to the semiconductor property of that material. Whether it remains the same or it changes to metal or insulator.?
Sory for let reply. I am working mainly with Au and Ag nanostrcutures and nanoporous Au ,Pt, Ni, and Mo I worked also with semiconductors like ZnO.
