I am 71, interested at a Scientific American level in all sciences -- retired in 2007 after 20 years as home hospice care giver in Santa Fe, New Mexico -- now with my wife in Imperial Beach, 10 miles south of San Diego, California, in a small rented house a block from the beach --

we want low cost nanosensors to detect ethanol, methanol, acetaldehyde, formaldehyde in air and in liquids at 0.1 ppm to 100 ppm, so any family can run their own tests...
