The Recommendation has been addressed to the Committee of Ministers, which now has six months to reply. In general, the Committee of Ministers consults its specialised committees first (in this case, DH-Bio).
I will not fail to keep you informed of developments.

you may wish to read the Council of Europe report regarding nanotechnology (text reprinted below) entitled,
Nanotechnology: balancing benefits and risks to public health
and the environment
Only the provisional version has been published so far (see link below). The final version is due to be published before the end of January. This report was accepted by the Committee and will now move forward in the Council of Europe process. The next step means that this report will be debated by the full Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg France, tentatively scheduled for April 26 2013.Stakeholders and constituents may wish to attend the debates or offer comments.
Please use this version, as it is the only one publicly available for now. My name is first mentioned on page 2, and this will normally stay the same also for the final version, because it is referenced under the Parliamentary Member who ist he Rapporteur.
Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.
There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
Nanopaprika is always looking for new partners, if you have any idea, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
