Hi Wolfgang, I just wanted to send you a message to ask a question and I have to be a friend to do that, so here I am. I would like to ask your opinion about dispersing some mass of still wet submicron particles of gold made from using the Turkevich process. No matter what I do, if I get the particles to come out of the red solution and go to the bottom, they will always clump together into one big brown mass. There seems to be no way to get a black submicron powder.  Can this mass be broken up into submicron(500nm) to 1 micron size gold powder with spherical forms? Will only a high energy ultrasound finger do this? Is it possible to do with a high speed mixer?

Hello Sir,

Myself Sumit Barthwal post-graduate (chemistry) from India. Presently I am working in DST Unit of Nanosciences Center at I.I.T. Kanpur (India). I am working here from past 5 years and have experience of handling and operating different materials characterization tools (like AFM/STM, XRD, SAXs, maskless lithography and SEM) and interpretating data from them.
