Assistant/Associate Professor Experimental Biological Physics and Nano-Biophysics

The Department of Physics at Arizona State University (ASU) seeks applications for tenure-track assistant/associate professorships in experimental biological physics and nano-biophysics. The positions will include a joint appointment with the Biodesign Institute, and candidates must demonstrate a strong overlap with biological sciences and expertise in medical or disease-related research.  Applicants must have a PhD in physics, biophysics or a closely related field at the time of appointment, an outstanding record of research accomplishments with clear potential to establish a vigorous, externally funded, research program, and show a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.  Demonstrated experience in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and excellent verbal/written English skills are desired. Exceptional applicants may be considered for a more senior appointment.
