Applications are invited for a technician post, available immediately for up to five years duration, in support of research to develop nanotechnology applications with endohedral fullerenes and related materials. The project involves providing technical support and safety responsibility in the carbon nanomaterials laboratory. The postholder will work under the supervision of Dr Kyriakos Porfyrakis (Head of Laboratory for Carbon Nanomaterials), whose group has many years of research experience on the synthesis, chemistry and characterisation of endohedral fullerenes and on exploiting their commercial potential.
