Summer School on Micro- and Nano- structural characterization of materials
I would like to announce that a Summer School on Micro- and Nano- structural characterization of materials, focused on electron microscopy will be organized in Thessaloniki, Greece, on July 11-15, 2012.
The Summer School is addressed to PhD and postgraduate students, working in the scientific area of Solid State Physics and Materials Science and to all interested young scientists, who want to take an introductory course in Electron Microscopy and open a window to the nano-world.
Apart from the lectures, a hands-on training in the Electron Microscopy Laboratory of the Department of Physics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will also be offered.

It's great idea - our Nanomechanics Group supports it. A module on Nanomechanics can be added.

From my experiences this is a very important class even for experienced chemist with interest in nano technology analysis.

Welcome! Nanopaprika was cooked up by Hungarian chemistry PhD student in 2007. The main idea was to create something more personal than the other nano networks already on the Internet. Community is open to everyone from post-doctorial researchers and professors to students everywhere.
There is only one important assumption: you have to be interested in nano!
