Science and Sanctions: Interview with Iranian Nano-Scientist Dr. Abdolreza Simchi

Iran has dominated the news recently in a chess match between itself and the West. Despite turbulent politics and current sanctions against Iran, Iran's scientific community is thriving, especially in the field of nanotechnology. Dr. Abdolreza Simchi, the number fourth ranked nanotechnologist in all of Iran, discusses his work, the challenges he faces as an Iranian scientist, and how nanotechnology can help his people in the infrastructural, educational, and public health sectors.
