Research Fellow - University of Leeds - United Kingdom

(Fixed Term, 12 months)

The post holder should have an equivalent of a first class or a 2:1 degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Thermophyics or other related science and engineering disciplines and a PhD in one of the above disciplines. Preference will be given to candidates with solid background and a demonstrable track record in at least three of the following: (i) formulation and characterisation of non-aqueous suspensions of nanoparticles, (ii) characterisation of nano-suspensions in terms of particle size and morphology, particle aggregation, physical and chemical stability, rheology, density, and surface tension, (iii) heat transfer and fluid flow, (iv) synthesis of nanoparticles and nanocomposite materials, and (v) measurements in Labview or an alternative environment.
