Description

BioSense Center was established at the University of Novi Sad with the mission to coordinate, focus and advance research in biosensing through introduction and promotion of state-of-the-art ICT solutions in agriculture, ecology, environmental protection and forestry. Research at the BioSense Center covers three distinctive levels: devices, systems and data processing. The vision of the BioSense Center is to become an internationally recognized multidisciplinary research center and a key provider of advanced ICT solutions for acquisition and processing of data for natural resource management. Besides excellence in research, the BioSense Center seeks to become a respected player in the policy making, influencing the regional and national legislation-making bodies on the basis of state-of-the-art research results, thus contributing to the optimization of the agricultural production, healthy and safe environment, and wellbeing of the general population and of the region. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and development of the BioSense Center and to work in a very welcoming and pleasant environment within a successful and expanding School and within a research-intensive University.
