The Pharmaceutical Nanoscience group has developed a number of novel drug formulations for the delivery of peptides; Molecular Pharmaceutics, and hydrophobic drugs.

 

Applicants are now invited for this position on a translational industrially funded project aimed at the formulation of two cancer drugs for ultimate administration to patients.  The post holder will design, prepare and test both solid and parenteral dosage forms and will be required to interact with both industrial and academic colleagues in a collaborative environment.

  

The post is funded for one year in the first instance.


Key Requirements

A PhD in drug delivery/ formulation/ pharmaceutical nanotechnology is an essential requirement. The successful candidate will have knowledge of solid oral dosage form design and testing, and parenteral dosage form design and testing. Laboratory experience in a formulation laboratory is required. Industrial experience is desirable.
