Research Assistant (postdoc) 70 – 80 % Expert in the Synthesis of Polymeric (Janus) Nanoparticles

to start immediately or upon agreement for a 12 month contract (extendable). The candidate will be part of a highly motivated interdisciplinary team in a challenging research environment with state of the art laboratories and infrastructure and will be involved in:

  • Development of novel nanocarriers and surfactant colloids
  • Synthesis of asymmetric polymer nanoparticles by phase separation, seed polymerization, masking, grafting-from, etc.
  • Development of supra-amphiphiles

The candidate has a strong background in polymerization and surface chemistry. Hands-on experience in nanoparticle separation and purification is essential. We expect a team oriented personality holding a university degree in Chemistry and a PhD who is able to work toward deadlines in an independent target-oriented way.
