Dear sir,

           I am writing to express my interest in internship. Currently I am post graduate student at BITS PILANI UNIVERSITY, HYDERABAD CAMPUS, INDIA majoring in MICROELECTRONICS and I would very much appreciate an opportunity to further my skills in MICROELECTRONICS/NANOELECTRONICS. I am confident that my academic background , combined with my personal experience, could be beneficial to get the desired opportunity.

As a project student at CEERI PILANI, I gained valuable experience in semiconductor device fabrication, working with DIRECTOR GRADE SCIENTIST PROF. R. P. GUPTA. I used I.C. Fabrication Techniques like RCA-Chemical Cleaning of Silicon, Silicon Oxidation, Photolithography, Oxide Etching, Diffusion, Thin film Deposition, Metal Etching and characterization (Aug 2011).

Currently I am working on a project Nanoelectromechanical nonvolatile memory devices incorporating Si quantum dots in the guidance of Prof Souri Banerjee. In this project we are using very high speed digital plasma process to fabricate 10 nm si dots. This project consist of the observation of optical properties of si-quantum dots for transparent memory applications. We are also trying to investigate the mechanical bistability of si-quantum dots which is very important in our case due to the bending of silicon beam.

I am also working on some new materials like bionanodots(ferritin with cobalt) in order to replace the silicon with some better performance metrics.

This is my 3rd semester of my M.E. course. In the last semester we have thesis work. I am interested in doing my thesis work from abroad. If any one in this group is having any idea related to my field of interest then please guide me..
