QuantumWise A/S is seeking a scientific specialist in atomic-scale modeling for our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. We develop a leading-edge software platform for atomic-scale simulations with focus on simulating emerging electronic devices. You will be in close contact with our end users, which are leading semiconductor companies and academic institutions. You will provide advanced technical and scientific support, write technical specifications and validate our software. In addition, you will be writing scientific case studies to be published in leading scientific journals as well as providing tutorials for our end users. You may also be involved in programming plugins to deliver solutions for specific customers. The tasks require extensive experience with atomic-scale modeling, in particular density functional methods and non-equilibrium Green's functions and some programming experience. Current team members have a degree in theoretical physics, computer science or chemistry.

    • Personal experience with different atomic-scale simulation codes
    • Strong general background in chemistry and solid state physics

  • Device simulations
    • Experience with nanoscale device simulations
    • Knowledge of the NEGF formalism
  • General
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
    • General programming skills, in particular in Python
