The Opportunity

The University of Warwick and Monash University are seeking to recruit a Professor of Structural Cryo-Electron Microscopy. We are looking for an outstanding scientist who has a demonstrated track record in determining protein structures using particle approaches and in publishing their work at the highest level. There will be opportunities to forge collaborations between the two institutions, and individuals who can complement on-going research at Warwick or Monash are especially encouraged to apply. The appointee will be appointed as the inaugural director of the new Monash Technology Research Platform at the Clive and Vera Ramaciotti Centre for Structural Cryo-EM.

This will be a joint appointment between the two institutions. You will be based primarily at Monash, but are expected to spend a significant amount of time at Warwick, to direct substantial research efforts in both institutions and to contribute to teaching and leadership. Resources will be available to facilitate this international program, including personnel, travel and other budgets.
