We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Department of Oncology. You will join the group of Professor K Vallis, focusing on translational research in the area of radionuclide imaging and experimental radiotherapeutics.

You will lead a research project to design, synthesise and conduct preclinical development of in vivo SPECT and/or PET imaging or theranostic agents, based on modified proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids or nanotechnology approaches. Current themes within the group include targeting of intranuclear molecules for therapy and imaging, innovative nano-medicine drug/radionuclide delivery systems and molecular imaging of angiogenesis and DNA damage.

You will have a PhD in Imaging Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology or a related subject. You will also have excellent bench skills in relevant laboratory techniques, along with a strong publication record at the level of first author publication in a leading refereed journal.

This is a full-time post and is available until 31 March 2017 in the first instance.
