Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

In this position you will work on a BBSRC funded project to develop and use a novel, high speed, super-resolution, multiphoton microscope with the aim of progressing development towards commercialisation

You will be required to take a leading role in the design and execution of experiments thus determining the progression and the direction of the research, in line with reaching the goals of the project.

You will have a PhD in optics (or related subject), biological sciences or in neuroscience and have experience in either the development of confocal/multiphoton microscopes or the use of modern imaging techniques including Multiphoton/Confocal Microscopy, digital imaging to measure dynamic events in biological systems.
