The Division of Materials Sciences and Engineering in the Ames Laboratory is seeking a Ph.D. scientist with expertise in computer simulation and a background in either material science or condensed matter physics for a
post-doctoral position to perform molecular dynamics simulation of grain boundary migration and dislocation-mediated plasticity in nano-twinned structures. The candidate is required to be experienced in running MD codes using parallel processors (experience with LAMMPS is required).
